Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation - Initiatives[NOFA]

Andhra Pradesh Chambers has pramoted Natural Organic Farmers Association (NOFA) in 2014, is a statewide organization leading a growing movement of farmers, consumers, gardeners, and businesses committed to promoting sustainable, local, organic food and farming.

NOFA provides education in organic farming, assistance and support to regionally-based, sustainable farmers to help them thrive, educate consumers about the value in buying local, organic products, help consumers connect with regionally-based farmers, work to make local, organic food available to all people, and advocate policies that support a sustainable food and farm system.

NOFA Mission Statement

NOFA is an organization of farmers, gardeners and consumers creating a sustainable regional food system which is ecologically sound and economically viable. Through demonstration and education, NOFA promote organic farming, organic food production, and local marketing. NOFA brings organic sector consumer and farmer closer together to make high quality food available to all people with nominal cost.

NOFA is a member-based, non-profit educational organization supported in part by membership donations and individual contributions. Charitable donations are tax deductible to fullest extend allowable by the IRS.
