AP Chambers delegation led by President along with office bearers, met Dr. P. Krishnaiah, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, AP Pollution Control Board, and submitted a detailed representation on key industry issues and regulatory reforms.

The delegation briefed the Chairman on each issue, including the 1 km mining distance criterion, land norms for seafood processing units, SIMP Portal & EPR certification challenges faced by plastic MSMEs, recognition of the common greenbelt at JNPC Park, Parawada, faster approvals for product mix changes, and measures to strengthen Ease of Doing Business, MSME facilitation, renewable energy, circular economy initiatives, and regular industry–APPCB consultations. The Chairman appreciated the constructive suggestions and assured that the issues would be examined positively in the interest of balancing environmental protection with industrial growth and employment generation.
