A delegation from AP Chambers, led by President Mr. Potluri Bhaskara Rao, met Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Rural Development & Communications Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar on 26 May 2025 at his residence. During the meeting, the delegation presented key suggestions aimed at strengthening rural development, industrial growth, and telecom infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh. AP Chambers requested the Union government to introduce a MSE employment scheme on the lines of MNREGA for rural industries, set up rural skill development centres, National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR) office, defence and aerospace clusters, and commodity boards for mango, banana and palm oil in the State. The Chambers also requested improvement in telecom network coverage in rural areas. The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the efforts of AP Chambers and assured his support for viable initiatives.
